We have an original bathroom in a Sydney apartment (walk-up apartment – no lift) built around 2000. We’re not looking for a full renovation. The bathroom layout works well and we’re keeping the existing: * Wall tiles * Floor tiles * Bathtub * Toilet * Vanity location Our goal is to give the bathroom a modern refresh while keeping the existing layout. Scope of works We’re looking for an experienced bathroom renovator, tiler or shower screen installer to quote on some or all of the following: * Remove existing shower screen and dispose of it. * Remove old grout and replace with new grout (please advise if full regrouting is recommended). * Remove and replace all shower silicone. * Supply and install a frameless diagonal corner shower screen (same footprint as the existing shower). (optional) * Advise whether a low tiled hob/threshold can be added to improve water containment and reduce leakage outside the shower (optional). * Paint the rear bathroom wall white to match the remaining walls (optional). What we’re NOT looking for * Removing or replacing tiles. * Changing the bathroom layout. * A full bathroom renovation. * Advice to demolish and start again. The bathroom is structurally sound—we simply want a high-quality cosmetic update. 🚿 A couple of tiles in shower have come off or are about to come off. 🖌️ They need to be stuck down and regrouted. 🧼 Repair does not need to be functional, just needs to look presentable and clean when complete. 🛠️ Job requires you to bring own tools and materials. 🌈 Bonus if you’re also able to somehow remove the rainbow crayon in the grout above bath. 🌈

My shower needs regrouting. It’s not that bad but I like things to be perfect.

Whole bathroom floor and some of wall needs regrouting with white grout. And corner of shower seal must be cracked as water running out and under basin. So old wrong colour sealant needs to be removed and replaced. I’m not flush, grateful for a good deal with best offer. Thanks

Just moved into a new home. The shower areas of 2 x bathrooms have deep grime from years of use. Looking for someone to either re-grout or know how to deep clean these tiles.

Bathroom shower has mould build-up around grout and silicone joints. Grout between tiles is deteriorating and cracked in several places. Some mould may also be behind the silicone/tiles. Looking for someone experienced with bathroom mould remediation, shower regrouting and resealing. Scope: * Remove all existing silicone from shower corners and wall/floor joints * Remove deteriorated/cracked grout where required * Regrout affected tile joints * Treat and clean mould thoroughly * Apply new mould-resistant bathroom silicone * Inspect for signs of water ingress or failed waterproofing behind tiles Please advise if you believe a larger waterproofing repair is required after inspection. Shower is currently functional but has visible mould/discoloration mainly in corners and lower tile joints.
