I need an experienced plasterer to repair a ceiling crack in a hallway. The job requires installing proper control joints in the ceiling lining in line with Aus Standards AS 2589 2017, then patching and repainting the area. This is not a patch-only job. I am specifically looking for someone who understands why control joints are required, where they should be placed, and how to render them correctly to prevent future cracking. I’m looking for someone with experience in similar ceiling crack repairs. Please provide a written quote that briefly explains where the control joints will be installed and the general approach you’ll take.
