Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced with outdoor pergolas, waterproofing, drainage, or building leaks to help me fix a water issue. A handyman recently built an outdoor pergola for me. Since then, every time it rains, a lot of water comes into the garage floor area. I’m not sure whether something has not been sealed properly, whether there is a leak, or whether the structure/drainage is causing water to flow into the garage. The handyman said that water can flow in, but I would like someone to properly inspect the problem and find a permanent solution. We have already tried using cement and sealing tape to block some areas, but water is still coming inside when it rains. So I’m not sure if this is a sealing issue, drainage issue, or a structural problem with the pergola or surrounding area. I’m looking for someone who can come and assess the situation, identify where the water is coming from, and fix the problem properly. Please contact me if you have experience with this type of issue. Moved into new house. There is no remote for the Eurola retractable pergola. I can also see one of the louvres seemed stuck. So (1) need to know which remote to buy, (2) someone to program the remote and (3) a basic service.
