My idiot housemate flooded the upstairs 'bathroom' & water started pouring out of the ground floor light fittings & also the rangehood I raced down (honestly the amount of shit this guy has broken in our almost brand new townhouse is truly astounding). We're currently looking for a new housemate but with a broken washing machine & no oven it's going to be difficult. I managed to ignite the 5 gas burners (with the stoves 'spark) but the main/centre burner was gurgling with water So I left it going quite high for around 3 hours, the gurgling stopped at around 2, 2 & 2 1/2 hours but I wanted to make sure it was completely dry. So the ignighters work, on certain oven settings like grill the fan comes on but not the element(s) 🤷🏻‍♀️ I switched it off at the breaker on Wednesday until tonight hoping it would just dry out but it seems no such luck -our washing machine just broke and we're both 'surviving' on the disability support pension. So this is giving me gives me delightful panic attacks and adds to my already over the top anxiety. So anyway our funds are extremely limited. So please, I'm interested in seeing what the quotes are, I'm in a desperate situation, I received a $12k quote to fix my teeth, $8k is urgent as I need to stay on antibiotics untill it's pulled. I had a car accident (disputing who was at fault) & my mechanic is trying every trick in the book to get my quote down to $5k (from $7k) or it's a write off.

My Asko electric oven is not heating up properly. It only gets to a low temp then won’t heat any further so I think some elements are not working

Remove non-structural wall from cavity around oven spave. See images for details. The pink crosses are the 2 parts of the wall i would like to remove. The inside of the wall is a thin sheet metal - perhaps steel. The outside of the wall is a masonite like plaster board. I will be installing a range hood in the empty space. Please provide a quote.
