My partner and I are getting a new floor put in the kitchen. This means we're temporarily removing the freestanding gas stove oven (it will likely live in the dining room until the floors are done). The new floors will elevate the gas stove oven by approx. 15mm. Looking for someone who could help adjust the height of the oven so it's flush with the benchtops upon reinstallation. Essentially, we need to reduce the height of the oven by 15mm. The job needs to be completed between 13 - 21 May. Things to keep in mind: - Currently, the gas stove oven is sitting on a metal platform that appears to have been custom made. (see pics of front and back- beneath oven) - It's possible the metal platform has been fixed to the bottom of the gas stove oven somehow. - We're open to having the platform removed and resized, or removed and have another solution put in place, for example, new metal legs. - The 'must-haves' are that the new height is flush, and the oven is safe, stable, and ready for re-installation. - Re-installation of the oven is not part of this job.
