Looking for an experienced mobile motorcycle mechanic to come out and perform a routine service (plugs, oil and filter, and systematically diagnose a heat-soaked running issue on a 2008 Yamaha V-Star 650. ​Background & Symptoms: ​Bike starts and idles and rides fine... ​After roughly 20 minutes of operating temperature under load, the engine experiences some power loss, backfiring, then slowly stalling. ​Suspecting a potential thermal breakdown (heat-soaked ignition coil dropping out) or fuel/compression fault. **​So the cope of Work is just to: - Perform exhaust heat / spark / electrical checks once the engine reaches operating temperature to isolate whether an ignition coil is failing under heat. - ​Conduct a quick diagnostic overview (checking fuel delivery and basic mechanical health). - ​Complete the scheduled service (engine oil and filter change, spark plug replacement) once diagnostics are cleared. ​Please bring a multimeter, spark/ignition testing gear, and standard tools. Looking for an experienced mechanic (ideally familiar with Audi/VW V6 platforms) to fix a front coolant leak on my 2002 Audi A4 B6 (2.4L V6 petrol). The Issue & Symptoms: • There is an active leak dripping directly onto/above the alternator housing at the front of the engine (see attached photos with area highlighted). • When topping up the coolant reservoir, an active drip appears from the thermostat housing area (see attached dripping vs. non-dripping photos). • Pink coolant residue and dripping are visible behind the serpentine belt drive. • Expected fix: Replacing the faulty O-ring / thermostat housing seals. Requirements for the Mechanic: • Put the front carrier into service position as needed, replace the faulty O-ring/thermostat housing seal, refill, and properly bleed the cooling system. • Must come fully equipped with their own standard hand tools • Must be completed onsite at home/driveway in Gosford (car will not be cranked until repaired). What I Provide Onsite: • Fresh pink G12/G13 coolant & distilled water. • I have 2x Service position guide bolts for the front lock carrier. • Serpentine belt removal tool kit. • Any parts if necessary Keen to find a go-to mechanic for ongoing work on this vehicle. Hi, I’m looking for a mobile mechanic or diesel mechanic to help fix an issue with my 2015 Toyota HiAce diesel van. I recently replaced the diesel fuel filter, reconnected everything and primed the system, but the van now won’t start. It initially started for a few seconds and then turned off. There appears to be a fuel leak coming from the outgoing fuel connection/fitting on the diesel filter housing when priming. I need someone to inspect it, fix the leak/connection issue, prime the system properly and get the van running again.
