Hey there everyone looking for someone who can get my 2017 Apple MacBook Air 13” laptop (a1466 model) working again. It was functioning fine, then suddenly stopped and now when turning on freezes on the black screen with ? Folder flashing on it. I have rebooted to utility disk and in the internal list the usual MacHD drive icon is not there so I’m thinking it needs a new hard drive? Instead of the MacHD drive icon there is the small Apple SSD media icon and I can’t do anything to this ie. erase etc. If I go to try and reinstall MacOS it asks ‘select the drive you would like to install to,’ but there are no drives in the menu to be able to install to, which again makes me think it needs a new HD popped in. I had a guy offer to pop one in for $30 last year but lost his number!! (Can travel to you for repair.) - Due date: Needs to be done on Wednesday, 7 June 2023
