The issue started after the door accidentally slammed shut – since then, it's been misaligned and hard to operate. Additionally, the door lock has come partially detached. We've tried screwing it back a few times, but the screws no longer hold due to the holes being too loose. The lock keeps falling off after a few days. Install supplied internal door handle onto existing internal door. Recess is needs to be chipped on door and door frame to install both handle and strike plate parts. I’ve already installed the handle however discovered the recess needs to be made on door. Also that the door strike plate needs to be replaced to the new one.
