I’m landscaping a back garden and need 1-2 strong people to help for about 10 days over the next month. Offering $50 an hour. Happy to fit around your other jobs, or have 1 person some days and two some days. I will supply tools or you can use your own. The work involves a mix of: - clearing the backyard- there are about 12 timber joists, a gas heater, 2 big pots, a wood step and 2 sheets of plywood to move. - digging over the top layer of sandy soil, getting the builders rubble out and mixing with mulch, spreading as soil. - levelling out an area for turf. - carrying blue metal, soil and compost from the driveway to the back- there are 24 steps to the back garden so hard work! - spreading soil, laying turf. - a smallish pile of bricks / sandstone to move from the front to the back. - weeding and digging holes for plants with a cordless power digger. - Filling soil around stepping stones & planting groundcover. Other stuff to know: - you’re welcome to use a fridge, microwave & toilet. - some days you can park in the driveway. - some days I’ll do a few hours work alongside you, other times you’ll need to just get on with what we’ve agreed.
