The wall is structurally sound, but has cracking, uneven patching and a tired finish. The objective is to straighten, neaten and refinish the wall so it presents as a clean, modern surface ready for painting. This is not a structural rebuild and not a decorative render — quality of finish and straightness are the priority. Scope of work: Remove loose or failing render and previous patches Patch cracks and damaged areas with suitable masonry repair mortar True up and straighten the wall face as much as practicable Apply a light bagged render / skim coat to achieve a flat, uniform finish Square off visible edges and the top line of the wall Supply and install a simple concrete cap along the full wall length: - Square edge - Slim, neat profile - Installed level and straight - Leave wall clean and ready for painting after curing Wall details: Length: approx. 8 metres Height: approx. 750–900 mm External, ground-level retaining wall beneath a timber fence Good access, no demolition required What I’m looking for: Experience with small residential concrete / render jobs Attention to straightness, levels, waterproofing and clean finishes Ability to explain how you will level the wall before installing the cap Photos of similar work preferred This is a cosmetic repair and finish, not a rebuild.
