We are redoing the landscaping around our pool, which is at the back of a 405 block. There are two main tasks that need to be completed: 1. To complete digging of a shallow trench about 300-400 mm deep along the edge of the pool, where we will install a retaining wall. This requires a pickaxe and shovel to get through some light roots from the garden and requires soil to be piled up on a tarp for removal later, or ideally removed if possible. 2. To extend the existing stormwater drain in the back grass through to the pool area a distance of about 4 m to pick up the drainage of a poolside shower, and then to extend it a further 4 m to provide drainage to the back of the yard. This requires trenching through the grass a distance of about 2 m and will require the grass to be reinstated once the drainage has been extended. Once you're into the pool area, there's no turf, and it's an open worksite. I have done three quarters of the work over a weekend. I just need someone to extend the trench, as mentioned, and to dig the drainage lines to extend the stormwater. It's a genuine full day's work for someone.

I’ve got a couple of cubes of mulch that I’m moving from the front to the back. No room for a wheelbarrow so I’m doing it with baskets. If you can help for two hours that would be great.

I need someone to lift and move heavy slate stepping stones around a small fish pond (not concreted in, just sitting on top), top up soil around the pond to bring level of area back up to edge of pond (soil already purchased and ready), and then replace pavers as they were after soil top-up.

I have 2 cubic metres of soil and 1 cubic metre of mulch being delivered friday mid morning. It will be dumped on the nature strip so I need someone to shovel it into a wheelbarrow and distribute it into various gardens around the house (some at back, some side, some front).
