Each sleeper then needs to be lifted from the trailer and slotted carefully between C or H beam posts which have been concreted in place. Final preparations to the site are about to be completed and the area will be cleared and ready for the sleepers to be put into place. There are ten 2 metre sleepers which each weigh 72kg and three 1.6 metre sleepers which each weigh 57kg.
