Hello I am looking for assistance to dig two trenches for some retaining walls I am planning on constructing in my back yard. Each trench needs to be 400mm wide by 200mm deep. I’ve attached a plan of the backyard with the location of the trenches drawn in green. The longer trench is approximately 16m long and the shorter trench is approximately 6.2m long. About 6m of the length of the longer trench goes through some sandstone so that will need to be jackhammered away. I also have two small slabs of concrete in my back yard (each about 1sqm and around 50mm deep) that need a bit of jackhammering so they can be broken up.
