My fiddle lift plants are in desperate need of some loving care. Since we moved to the new house they have been losing leaves and they need to be repotted with some fresh soil and mulch and some roots mould cleaner. So we need somebody to come and do a service on two of the plants and repot them and help us position them within the house for maximum enjoyment

I have a bench box or horizontal toolshed - made almost entirely of wood. The lid of the box is large & heavy. The lid is attached to the rear (southern) wall of the box by four sets of hinges. There are also 2 piston-like closers at each end which provide a degree of control when opening/lifting and closing/dropping the front of the lid. The bench box was constructed in 2007. In 2017, the hinges were replaced with new hinges. The hinges themselves are still in good condition. However the upper halves of the hinges, which are attached to the (southern) rear of the lid, have come away from the lid because the wood to which they are attached has rotted. The top of the external part of the rear wall of the box used to be covered by metal flashing. The part of the flashing protecting the western half of the external rear wall has disappeared. In addition, on its western side, the bench box is located right next to a leaking pond. In addition, in the bottom of the bench box is a pump sump which always has at least a few cms of water in it. The result is that, at least in the current weather, the wood comprising the rear wall of the box is very wet. There is an access problem. The outside rear of the box is very difficult to access as there is only a 6-7 cm gap between it and the fence behind the box – AND there is mature bamboo growing in that gap. As a result, working on the rear wall of the box will require removal of the lid and working on the rear wall from inside the box (noting that a portion of the floor is occupied by the pump sump). The main part of the task is to replace as much of the lid and the rear wall of the box as is necessary to allow the lid hinges to be attached to sound new wood in the rear box wall. I am open to replacing part or all of the wood in bottom (southern) side of the lid with something which can cope with moisture. Also, the piston-closers need to be replaced. - Due date: Flexible

Hey 👋🏼 I am looking for someone who has a green thumb and wants to spend time going to Bunnings Alexandria to pick out pots (large) and plants. If you are a gardener and have ideas to what looks good, I would love your input too! I have some idea of what I want however I need someone who has a truck to bring it all home, lift it, pot the plants and put it all in the right place. I’m creating a garden on the balcony. You should have a truck/ute, maybe a trolley (the pots are X-Large and heavy, up to ~16kg) and I will also need to buy potting mix. I would like you to be able to do all the lifting. If required we might need to do two trips to Bunnings to be able to fix everything too. 🪴 I would like to get ~9 large pots (they should stack inside each other so easier with travel space) and 5 plants, 4 smaller plants (maybe more if we can fit it) and potting mix. I suspect this to be a 6-8 hour job and would like this done properly. Ideally done on a weekend or public holiday. This Saturday or Monday would be great if possible. There is visitor parking in the building. Please note I will be at the shop too and cover all costs for the plants, pots, soil when I am there.
