Hi there! My partner and I are looking for a Japanese tutor to help us learn the basics before we move overseas. We’re complete beginners and hoping for someone who’s: • Patient and easy to talk to • Comfortable teaching both of us at the same time (we’re a couple!) • Available for in-person lessons in Brisbane – flexible on location (your place, ours, or a quiet public space) • Open to a casual, conversational style – we’re not aiming to pass tests, just want to feel confident with real-life basics like greetings, food, directions, and everyday phrases We’re also interested in learning: • Cultural context and respectful language use • Phrases relevant to martial arts (BJJ) and wellness/yoga spaces We’d love to start with bi-weekly sessions and go from there.
