Hi, I'm looking for a licensed plumber (or suitably qualified hot water specialist) to diagnose and repair my Dux Proflo 100L electric storage hot water system. The issue: - No hot water anywhere in the apartment (including the kitchen). - The system was working previously and has now stopped heating. - Power is on to the property. About the installation: - Dux Proflo 100L electric storage hot water system. Installed inside a cupboard approximately 1 metre above the floor. - I am the owner of the apartment. - I have access to all electrical switchboards. - A ladder is available if required. - Plenty of photos are attached showing the unit and surrounding area. Ideally, I'd like the system repaired if the fault is something like the heating element, thermostat or another replaceable component. If the cylinder itself has failed or isn't economical to repair, I'd appreciate a quote to: - Remove and dispose of the existing unit. - Supply a replacement hot water system (around 80–125L is fine). - Install and commission the new unit. Supply and install new 50L Hot Water System (eg Rheem). Disconnect and remove current 125L electric HWS (see photos). HWS is located on small tiled platform in cafe on ground floor (easy access).

Instalation how water in the hand wash

Our shower hot water tap in our bathroom is not working at all. The basin tap works perfectly. We urgently need someone to diagnose and fix as soon as possible.

Electric hot water heater (47L) constantly using ~1KW per hour even when not in use - property uninhabited. Switched HW fuse off at around 12:20am and 95% of energy use dropped. Unsure how old the unit is but maybe needs a service. Projected cost per year is $2.5-3k for a small 47L unit is unacceptable . Property is single level hot water supply only running to bathroom, kitchen/ laundry (all within 5 metres pipeline of each other)from outside kitchen window so likely some heat leak within that container area or just faulty unit. Don’t want to buy new unit just yet to see if old unit can be serviced / it is an issue with heat loss in the pipes (so new unit won’t solve.)

renovating our photo studio bathroom and need help reconnecting the old copper system to new bath tub + water system. Cash job Please see photos before and current. Hi Hot water isn’t working in the apartment. There is a hot water tank for both the kitchen and bathroom , but no hot water coming out. Have checked the switchboard too and it’s not the board as the hot water switch is on Any ideas? - Due date: Needs to be done on Thursday, 14 September 2023

To take a hot water system sitting outside my house to the recyclers - Due date: Flexible

Our instant hot water unit pilot light appears to not be holding and the unit is temperamental - it works when we turn the unit off and on again but will often go out mid shower. I need a plumber to take a look at the unit and fix or replace the unit. The job is probably best done on hourly plus consumable / new unit given the unknown of whether it can be fixed. - Due date: Before Saturday, 15 April 2023
