I had a fridge delivered this morning and it is slightly too wide for the turning circle in my apartment’s flight of stairs. The delivery drivers don’t have permission to use things like ratchet straps to lift it up and over the railing. It’s heavy, I think it would be a 2-person job

Help lifting a heavy solid timber bed base into ground floor apartment from van. Will need a dolly.

Need 1x Carrara Marble Pot moved from Elwood to Canterbury. The pot is empty, but very heavy. Estimated to be 200 - 250kg. The pot is 70cm diameter, 40cm high, and 8cm thick. Located on the ground floor (no stairs), but will need to be turned on its side to clear a 60cm wide door opening. Destination also ground floor with no stairs. Pictures of the pot attached. The narrow access can be seen in the back left of the first photo where the grate is. I understand it was carried into its current position by 2 people for the last couple of meters (to clear the narrow access and put in location). I'd think a heavy duty dolly & lift van would have been used for the rest of the move. Timing for the move would be later in the week, most likely to be Fri.

Hi! I need 2 strong people to help out on Friday 7th and Sat 8th to empty 2 taxiboxes - the first one is being delivered to Elwood on Friday 7th between 12 - 4 ( these time windows are annoying but l will get a confirmation the day before of the actual time) The box will be out the front of our apartment block so l need two people to bring the items into our first floor apartment. There are a couple of bigger items - a lightweight couch, bookshelves & a small chest of drawers but it’s mostly boxes. There are a lot of small boxes with books inside so quite heavy but to get the job done faster preference will be given to someone with a hand trolley. Should only take an hour & a half with two people- faster if you ate good at this! Then l need you both to return the next day - Saturday 8th, to do the second box which is only half full so a quicker job and only one heavy item in there - a small chest of drawers.
