John was reliable. Unfortunately the electrics had gone and my heater was dead so was unable to be fixed. John provided a quote for a replacement. Don't know if the diagnosis is the same amount of work as a service to warrant $150, perhaps I should have asked. I had a few questions about the heater after John had left and he called me back to answer those questions.

REPAIR A SPLIT SYSTEM; We have a old Kelvinator split cycle that has worked perfecty for 15 years. All summer (Air con) was fine but the heating now isn't kicking in. It turns on, fans push out air but the air isn't coming out hot. Cleaned the filters, that's not it. Core components are working but perhaps faulty reversing valve, thermostat, electrical, or refrigerant issues. It's an old unit. We're moving in 6 months and would prefer to repair not replace. Description: I recently installed air conditioning and heating units on the roof of my house, with the indoor unit located on the first floor (level 1). Everything is connected, but the water drainage hose is not properly set up. As a result, when I turn on the AC or heating, water drips onto the carpet. I'm looking for someone to fix the drainage system and ensure it’s properly connected to prevent any water leakage. It's a new Fiji Aircon and new water pump.

Breezeair evaporative cooling system. It was off for a couple of months. Now, once I turn on the main water line, there is a constant water flow from the cooler on the roof. I don't think there is a major issue, it could be water bulb, anyway, I am not an expert.
