Hi! I’m in a rental property with an LG ducted air conditioning system (wired wall controller model AEAMT08KB1) that has two zones – Living and Bedroom 1. The issue: • Bedroom 1 zone still blows air even when it’s turned off • Living room airflow is quite weak compared to the bedroom It looks like the Bedroom 1 zone damper might be stuck open or it’s been set as the constant/bypass zone. I’d like a qualified HVAC technician familiar with LG ducted systems to check: • The zone control board and damper operation in the ceiling cavity • Whether Bedroom 1 is configured as the bypass/constant zone • If possible, adjust or rebalance the airflow so the living area gets more air

3 AC units need a good clean

My ducted a/c is barely heating, and is only blowing air out of about 1/3 of the duct.

The air conditioner in my room is displaying E4 and only the fan works. It doesn’t cool down the room anymore.

I have a split air conditioner unit (Samsung). One day the indoor unit in the living room switched off by itself after about 5 minutes, with two flashing lights on the unit (pictured). If I try to turn on the aircon unit, it turns off almost immediately after. The indoor unit in the bedroom (both connected to the outdoor unit) does the same and has the flashing lights. I've looked at the outdoor unit, and noticed the fan doesn't turn on. I've taken off the top of the cover and noticed there's a small display screen which flashes on the display '00' '02' 'cc' which I assume is some sort of fault code. I've tried switching off the power for 30mins from the switchboard, the same issue persists.

I need someone to service the Mitsubishi AC unit in my apartment.

Per the NSW government energy scheme (https://www.energy.nsw.gov.au/households/rebates-grants-and-schemes/household-energy-saving-upgrades/upgrade-your-air-conditioning) I am looking at options to: 1) Upgrade my current AC unit (LG ArtCool model LSZ244M-4) per the above scheme. This unit was manufactured in 2005 and is now discontinued. 2) Have a new AC unit added into my bedroom I have been in touch with the team at www.freewatts.com.au to ask about the government ESS scheme/replacement etc as they are approved vendors (they're also going to be switching my halogen downlights for LEDs) and they have said I need to be in touch with a local installer so that they can ask the AC contact to get on board with us so that they can submit the job to us and we can pass the discount to you. Air conditioning units constantly leaking water and need to find a way to stop that from dripping onto the floor. UPDATE: I have tried installing some insulation which hasn't seem to fixed the problem.

Our Daikin RXS46KVMA returns error "EA". We had the same issue 3-4 years ago and had it repaired. At that time the repairman didn't need to replace the four way valve* (I can't remember what he did but it was quick). If the valve has actually failed this time so be it, I'm just noting that last time the part itself was OK.
