I’m looking for a handyman / carpenter to create a small internal cat access tunnel between two walk-in wardrobes that share a wall. Details: - The wardrobes are on opposite sides of the same wall and are already confirmed to be aligned (I’ve made a small pilot hole). - The wall is standard gyprock/drywall (non-structural partition). I need: - A square cut-out made in both wardrobes so the holes line up - A simple tunnel/lining between the two drywall openings (e.g. timber or MDF box) - Opening only needs to be cat-sized (approx. 20–25cm square — happy to discuss exact size). Tools & materials: - I do not have tools — tasker will need to supply tools and basic materials (timber/MDF, screws, trim). No electrical or plumbing in the wall from what I can tell (wardrobe area only). Other notes: -No need for a commercial cat flap — just an open tunnel between rooms. In the lounge room, only one window can be opened, which does not provide sufficient ventilation. 2. The window in the third bedroom cannot be opened, leaving the room without ventilation. 3. The blinds in the main bedroom appear to be installed incorrectly. There is a gap between the window frame and the blinds, which prevents them from closing fully. 4. The entry windows are fully visible from outside, and the tenant has requested either blinds be installed or the windows to be frosted for privacy. 5. The washing machine taps in the laundry are not installed correctly. There is no outlet for the water to drain when the washing machine is in use. 6. The cornice between the wall and the sliding door is not secured properly. The gap is widening, and the tenant is concerned it may eventually collapse. 7. The air conditioning unit in bedroom 1 is not working. The tenant has asked if this can be repaired or replaced. 8. The tenant has requested the basin in bedroom 1 be removed, as it takes up space in the corner and makes the area unusable.
