I really need. a quote for a fence (star picket and ring lock) to be installed. I measured it to be 420 metres long and I need it to be 1.8 metres high. I would also need a gate to be able to enter. Please quote me on the work and give me an idea about the material as well. I possibly could source the material myself.

We require structural sign off to add a non-permeable roof to our pergola. We are in City of Bayswater which has different rules to our neighbouring council regarding patios. We have built a pergola with a shade cloth. Because it lets water through, it's not classed as a patio and therefore fits within the current Pergola guidelines for Bayswater that do not require council approval. We would now like to add corrugated plastic roofing to protect from rain in the winter. This would make it a patio and require structural sign off to be able to get council approval. If we lived 1km to the West, we wouldn't require this sign off as Stirling allows patios with a roof under a certain size to be built without council sign off.

City of Bassendean says pool fence not compliant - need to 1. make sure gate self latch and 2. move fence 90cm away from pool filter. Open for suggestions on fence - either redirect last panel away from filter and add some fence or keep existing and build second fence on inside - may be 1m x 2m fence. Gate spring probably just needs adjustment to ensure self closing.
