We have a colourbond gate. The bolts that connect our colourbond gate to our brick wall have come loose (thanks to windy weather) and will need to either be cut (angle grinder may be needed) or taken off… They need to be rebolted to the brick wall so that the gate is well supported. We would want the handman to get the materials (make sure it’s rush proof bolts obviously) for this repair job. Preferably someone who has done this type of job before. One year ago I built my first house. It has a Bondor roof system. Unfortunately ever since construction was completed, the upstairs experiences regular vibration type sounds from the roof whenever the wind blows strongly in a westerly direction. I have recorded the sound and can provide it, along with pictures. So far, my builder has been unsuccessful in eliminating the noise and has tried various methods such as adding extra fixings in the flashings.
