I need help cutting back and heavily pruning several overgrown garden areas in my Dad's yard in Tugun. Main areas: - Raised garden bed along the side of the house – mix of ferns, palms, bromeliads and other plants. Needs significant reduction in height/width, thinning, and shaping. - Narrow sloped pathway/side strip near decking/stairs – dense ferns spilling over edges and steps; cut back close to foundations/walls for neat access. - Back yard/open area – large ferns, palms, vines climbing trees/fence, and shrubs along the back boundary; heavy cut-back required on multiple plants to reduce volume and improve light/airflow. No heavy tree work or chainsaw needed; small branches/ferns only. You do NOT need to remove or dispose of the green waste – I’ll help handle piling and removal as we have a skip bin arriving on the day. Time estimate: Around 8 hours total (e.g., 1 person full day or 2 people half day each). I can supply some basic tools (secateurs, loppers, small saw) if needed, or even better bring your own for efficiency. I am looking for someone experienced with tropical/overgrown gardens, reliable, and able to work carefully around buildings/fence/stairs. I have a town house, the back yard is not very big, but the weeds have come through the weed mat and the stones. I have tried to keep on top of it, but with all the rain it's got a bit out of hand for me.
