I believe that my (sand) filter for the pool needs maintenance or replacement. If a replacement is needed, I would like to look into the possibility to replace it with a saltwater chlorinator.

We purchased a home with a pool and have been renovating for the past two weeks. We were left with no instructions for the pool so was hoping someone could come and clean it and then explain how to maintain it using the equipment we have. Pool was clean when we got the keys 3 weeks ago so has only recently turned this quality.

Looking for someone efficient to help with a small outdoor garden tidy-up in Rowville. Work includes: • Weed and clear the pots shown in the photos; discard unwanted plastic pots and clean/tidy the ceramic pots we're keeping for replanting. • Minor pruning/tidying of 2–3 established shrubs shown in the photos — mainly trimming back overgrowth and neatening them. • Tidy the small pebble area, remove the old pond/bowl if practical, fill and compact the cavity with suitable base material, then top up and spread fresh decorative stones. This area will eventually hold a large ceramic pot, so the base needs to be firm and level. We will supply the base/fill material and decorative stones. Green bin is available on-site. Please bring normal gardening tools plus a hand tamper/manual compactor. No general garden weeding or landscaping required. Photos show the scope. Approx. 1.5–2 hours for someone experienced and efficient.

Looking for a reliable tasker to mow the lawn and handle weeds at a property in Rowville. • Backyard Approx. 300 sqm of grass. Flat ground with wide side-gate access from the driveway. • Mow the back yard. The grass has grown quite long, so it will need a powerful mower or a pass with a brush cutter first. I have a green waste bin on-site that you can use for all clippings and pulled weeds. You must bring your own commercial lawn mower, whipper snipper, and weeding tools. Looking for an experienced gardener to thoroughly weed and tidy several areas of the backyard, including: * A gravelled area that has become heavily overgrown with grass and weeds * Several patches of weeds growing through the lawn * Raised garden beds with substantial weed/grass growth between established plants * Timber garden beds and surrounding areas * Weeds along fences, paths, garden edges and around pots/plants * General removal of obvious unwanted grass and weeds throughout the backyard Important requirements: We have a dog who uses the backyard, so no herbicides, pesticides, weedkiller or chemical spraying of any kind can be used. We are looking for manual/mechanical weed removal — hand pulling, digging, hoeing etc. Please remove roots where reasonably possible rather than simply cutting the weeds off at ground level. Whipper-snipping can be used where appropriate as part of the clean-up, but we do not want the job to consist simply of cutting the weeds down with a whipper-snipper. Please take care not to remove or damage established garden plants, bulbs or lawn that we want to keep. When making an offer, please let me know approximately how long you expect the job to take and whether you will be working alone or with another person.
