I require some heavy pruning to a property in Heathridge ahead of council verge collection. The trees are a mix of cottonwood and olive along with a couple of self-seeded. - To the Cottonwood Hibiscus out the front, pruned to 2.5-3m from tree base, front & sides trimmed/shaped to match - To the Cottonwood Hibiscus planted along the top of the panel & post retaining wall. Pruned to ~1.5m. Front & sides trimmed/shaped to match - To the Cottonwood Hibiscus planted at the top of the limestone retaining. Pruned to ~1.5m. Front & sides trimmed/shaped to match - To the Olive trees planted in the limestone retaining, Heavy prune to ~2.5-3m from base of tree, front & sides trimmed/shaped to match - To the self-seeded “pepper trees” at the top of the panel & post retaining, at the top of the limestone retaining and any other instances of self-seeded “pepper trees” (I spotted at least 2) to be cut off at the base, drilled, glysophate and covered with plastic + paver on top or similar (stop dog from going near it). There is the property power connection running across the driveway however if the first cuts off the top are small ~1m sections you won't go anywhere near it. The trees/shrubs will need to be pruned and cut back and the waste placed on the verge/perimeter in compliance with City of Joondalup bulk green waste collection rules. There is a big side gate under the carport that can be opened up and branches easily dragged down to the kerb. Areas should be racked and blown free of sticks/branches/leaves before leaving site. Care needs to be taken not to damage any structure or fence. Main risk would be olive trees however if brought down in small pieces it will significantly minimise the risk. To do this job you will need pole pruner, extension ladder, rope, small chain saw, pruners, hand saw, rake & blower. The cottonwood pruning and other smaller shrubs should be quite quick & straight forward. The Olives at the back will require a bit more care. There is an area 3mx8m that had wild flimsy grasses grow (weeds not buffalo or couch etc) and it has all died off but needs pulling out. The soil is not heavily compacted by the way.
