This role suits someone who gets things done, works independently, and takes ownership of maintaining the outdoor areas as a whole. ⸻ Important – Please Read Before Applying • Start time is after 9:00am • You must be comfortable working without supervision • If specialist work is required eg arborist, I expect you to organise or coordinate, or provide clear, actionable options ⸻ Scope of Work The role includes a mix of garden, cleaning, and general outdoor maintenance: • General garden maintenance (weeding, pruning, trimming, clearing) • Keeping garden beds tidy across multiple terraces and levels • Sweeping / blowing leaves and debris from paths, stairs, and outdoor areas • Pressure cleaning outdoor areas as needed (approx. twice per year – equipment provided) • Pool leaf removal (simple scooping only) • Very small lawn area (approx. 5 minutes) • Other ad-hoc outdoor tasks to keep the property presentable • Minor outdoor repairs/fixes as needed (outside only, minor issues, basic tools required) The focus is on maintaining the entire outdoor property, not just one area. Trade Coordination & Initiative Where trees or other specialist work are required, you should be able to arrange or coordinate the appropriate trade, or provide a clear plan with contacts. I recently started renting this property – have a lovely pool but a decent amount of trees nearby and would like to figure out how I can vacuum it myself, look at the temperature controls, plus setup the suction cleaner to run. There is a skimmer and vacuum plate, plus suction cleaner but I don't know how to get enough suction to actually power the suction cleaner properly.
