We have regular lawn and path maintenance, however the garden beds have become overgrown and now need a thorough clean-out and prune. We want to keep the established tropical jungle feel, just more intentional, tidy and open, with dead foliage removed and plants thinned where needed. Areas needing attention (based on photos): • Front fence line (snake plants + clivias): • Cut back thinning and straggly growth • Remove dead leaves and runners • Shape into a tidy, compact bed rather than spilling onto the path • Main monstera/fern bed (centre of yard): • Remove yellow/brown/chewed leaves • Thin plants to open airflow & light • Trim trailing vines • Keep height/volume but reduce overcrowding • Back corner under tree: • Clear fallen palm fronds/leaf litter • Light prune for access into corner • Remove small weed trees/suckers popping up by the fence • Perimeter beds: • Trim clivias and other leafy borders so they aren’t creeping into lawn • Remove weeds throughout • General shape + tidy so boundaries feel defined Overall tasks required: • Pruning + strategic thinning (not a harsh cut-back) • Dead leaf/stem removal • Weed removal in all beds • Leaf litter & green waste removal from site • Optional: mulch application afterwards if you offer it Look we’re aiming for: Tidy, tropical, green and lush — not bare. Some of the grass in the backyard was established 5 weeks ago (first mow), so a bit more care will need to be taken there. There’s some grass in our front yard garden beds which will need to be removed carefully too (to avoid mowing the garden bed plants). We’re unsure of the dimensions of the yards but the front and side are small areas, and the backyard is maybe 20m by 30m? Garden waste bin is full but we can provide green waste bags. You’ll need your own equipment. The job will need to be completed anytime either today 6 May or tomorrow 7 May (due to rain being forecast for the rest of the week).
