On 23/12, Samsung fridge/freezer started making a loud noise and then when it was opened, the noise would stop and there was like a fan/motor loudly winding down. I found out it could be the evaporator fan, so I turned off the fridge for a day to defrost the back panels. It was working fine (no noise) for 10 days, till tonight (4/1/24).
