Refrigerant removal and disposal

With the fridge removal done, your broken unit will now be brought to an old fridge disposal area. While it may be tempting to stow away the refrigerator at a dump, these appliances can be a bit more tricky. After all, these contain chemicals that can be dangerous if not disposed of correctly. As such, it must be taken to a proper disposal facility not only to comply with local legislation but to help ease the impact on the environment as well.

That said, the fridge was wrapped in plastic instead of proper moving blankets, and it did get scratched. Having the appropriate moving equipment would improve the service.
