2019 Ford Ranger with SYNC 3. The main USB-A data port used for wired Apple CarPlay has developed an intermittent connection. Symptoms: * Charging works normally. * Apple CarPlay/data connection is intermittent. * The USB plug needs to be lifted/pushed upward inside the socket for CarPlay to connect. * The adjacent USB port is charging-only and works normally. * The fault appears to be the USB data port/media hub. I am looking for an experienced auto electrician or automotive infotainment specialist, preferably with Ford SYNC 3 experience, to supply and install the correct replacement USB media hub/port. Scope to include: * confirm the fault; * supply the correct replacement part/module; * remove and reinstall the necessary console/dashboard trim; * replace the faulty USB media hub/port; and * test and demonstrate fully working wired Apple CarPlay and USB data connection after installation. Someone recently bumped into the rear bumper of my Ford Ranger and has thrown the left rear side sensor out of whack where it beeps whenever I’m reversing. There’s also damage to the bumper that I’ll need fixed. See photos. Apart from this, the guys who serviced my car last took the audio unit out to try to fix an issue with my cigarette lighter and charging point but since then, I haven’t been able to use my radio. Whenever the radio is on, the system makes random crackling sounds which sounds like wires shorting. I will also need this fixed so I can use my phone again via Bluetooth. Please provide quotes.

Looking to replace a damaged headlight

I am looking for someone who is open to a bit of extra work in their spare time to swap the driveline of my 2004 Ford Fairmont Ghia 5.4L v8 into the shell of a BA XR6 Falcon. My understanding is that the fuse box relocation is required and the in order to make it work. Car: Ford Falcon FG G6E, auto Problem: the shift selector cable bushing at the gearbox end has let go (a common Falcon fault). RACQ has already attended, confirmed it's the bushing, and manually put the car into neutral. Before that the shifter was sliding through P/R/N/D doing nothing and the dash was stuck on P. Just need the bushing repaired. It's in an underground residential carpark in the Brisbane CBD city - height clearance is 2m. There's a couple of security gates so I'd need to jump in on street level and guide you down.
