Herringbone wooden flooring repair required. Approximately 10 wooden floor sections near the kitchen are squeaking or dip down when stepped on. House has flooring elevated from the ground. Previous builder did a fix a few years ago but made it worst.

Fix damaged area on wooded floor

I have a 2-in-1 job that I need help with. I have a section of laminate flooring in my living room that has swelled and cracked due to water damage from under the boards. The water appears to be leaking in from the window frame area, however it's difficult to be sure. The window outside appears to have several gaps where water may be entering from. The job would be to first find and patch the leaky area, then make sure it's sealed properly (we've had this issue before). After we're confident the leak is gone, we would need to replace a 1.5m x 1.5m section of the laminate flooring, and replace it with panels that match the existing color as closely as possible (it's fine if it's not exact, but we want it to be as close as possible). We'd want a handyman who has done work like this before so we can be confident that we will fix the problem once and for all.

Need an experienced carpenter to repair and rebuild sections of my backyard composite decking. Quote needs to include the materials needed. 1. Refasten / reinstall fallen decking boards - Some deck boards along the edge have come loose / fallen and need to be put back properly so it is secure back into position. The boards need to be fixed neatly and firmly so they sit level with the rest of the deck. 2. Rebuild one small deck step - One small setp section needs to be rebuild and reinstalled properly. The current step sinks down, so I want this step to be safe and stable. 3. Remove and rebuild the stairs - Remove the existing timble stiar framing as shown in the photo. Rebuild the stair using 2 x stair stringers with concrete landing at the last step. Cut decking boards to size and install them neatly in fixed position. I want a clean finish and would perfer concealed fixings.

I have two areas that are damaged to burn marks! Looking for a repair of these marks or I’m considering purchasing the vinyl and relaying…

Remove stains that are embedded in floor boards and fix furniture scratches

Looking for a handyman or carpenter to fix 2 moving or squeaky timber floorboards in our house. The preferred repair method is inserting timber shims between the joist and the underside of the floorboards to stop the movement. Important details • Repair must be done from underneath the house. Subfloor access is available • Two boards in total need attention • Timber floorboards above are in great condition so we do not want nails or screws through the top • Access to the area underneath is straightforward via the crawl space Please bring any required tools and timber shims. Location: Melbourne. Flexible on timing over the next 3 weeks but needs to be Friday - Sunday Please include relevant experience with floorboard repairs or carpentry when making an offer.

Find squeaks in floor in main bedroom and fix. Can you also check what’s under the carpet on the stairs and landings? Is it wooden floorboards or something else?

I have and old house with an outside laundry. The floor is just old floorboards. Some floorboards are broken in a section under the washing machine in the laundry. The floor could also use a clean, sand and varnish. Also, I'll need a hand to move the fridge, freezer and washing machine out of the laundry so the job can be done as well. Price negotiable.
