We have an area of our home that we believe can be better utilised. Including our kitchen, living room, laundry and full bathroom. We are looking for someone who is highly skilled in thinking differently and is able to combine form/ design with function.

I need someone to attend a property in Redbank Plains and create a basic floor plan of the house with accurate measurements. The floor plan will be used by flooring installers and other trades, so measurements need to be clear and reasonably accurate. Tasks required: • Attend the property in Redbank Plains • Measure all internal rooms and living areas • Include measurements for walls, hallways, and door openings • Provide a simple floor plan showing room layout and dimensions Output required: • A clear digital floor plan (PDF or image format) • Each room labelled with measurements • Total internal dimensions if possible Property details: • Standard residential house • Approximately 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (typical layout) This does NOT need to be an architect level drawing. Recently affected by the flooding, we have to gut our entire 70~sqm apartment and start again. The wait for insurance and builders to be available could take a while, so instead of twiddling my thumbs I thought I'd be proactive. We have a basic floor plan for this 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, however it does not have dimensions - more brochure style. I'm looking to have a detailed floor plan created, including walls, cupboards, flooring details, and positioning of utilities such as power, gas, water etc. I would expect this may require a site visit to the apartment at Bowen Hills. Hoping to also have a CAD file from which interior designers can work with to select materials and fittings. We'd like to keep the layout roughly the same as it is, however we may like to make a few minor adjustments along the way, such as moving a small wall or adding a cupboard - that kind of thing.
