The gas fireplace with remote does not work after a breakdown possibly fuse issue

We need to restore this fireplace to its former glory (for decorative purposes only) It had an old gas fireplace which had been disconnected. Now we’re left with a small hole in the wall which needs to be opened up with a mantle and insert erected. Also looking for your ideas on the best way to restore. Thank you, Irene

I nees tiler to install stackstones on fireplace wall. Its only 3 sqm area. A structure of cement sheet already built for the stakstones. Remove a couple of bricks in bottom of fire place (highlighted in red). Stackstones is supplied. The fee is jst for labor and adhesive.

Have an existing gas fireplace that I would like to remodel to include a recess for TV and sound bar below.

I have an old decorative fireplace (see the photos with the blue tiles) in our house which we don't like the look of. I would like for it to be removed and in its place a simple brick or rendered replacement with a mantle/shelf which we have in other bedrooms in the house (see images of the white rendered fireplace). The Victorian fireplace fender has a rod across the top and where it meets the the bottom section of the fender the rod has come away. it needs soldering back on - Due date: Needs to be done on Monday, 21 March 2022

Wallpaper one wall using Milton and King wallpaper. The wall is 3 m high X 2 metres wide and has a fireplace mantle in the middle. The wall already has wall paper on it which was installed approx 5 years ago. can we wall paper directly over the top or will it need to be removed?
