We require an experienced fencing contractor to extend the existing metal tubular/pool-style fence around neighbouring classroom sliding doors at St Marys Public School. The approximate dimensions are 11.5 LM for the main run, 2.2 LM for the return and 1.8 m in height, giving a total length of approximately 13.7 LM. Final measurements and post locations must be confirmed onsite. Fence panels, metal posts, brackets and screws are already onsite and must not be included as new material supply. The contractor must inspect these items and confirm they are suitable and sufficient for the installation. The quotation must include site inspection, final measurement, set-out, handling of onsite materials, controlled excavation of post holes, installation of posts into independent concrete footings, supply and placement of concrete, installation and alignment of fence panels, cutting or modification where required, minor fixings and consumables, corrosion protection to cut surfaces, connection to the existing fence, minor ground and turf reinstatement, waste removal, final cleaning and handover. No drilling, core-drilling, bolting or surface fixing into the existing concrete slab is permitted, and the slab edge must not be undermined or damaged. As the works are within an operating primary school, allow for approximately 11 temporary metal fence panels, including feet, clamps, bracing, secure access, warning signage, delivery, installation, maintenance and removal. The work area must remain inaccessible to students and unauthorised persons. Applicants must provide ABN, relevant experience, public liability insurance, workers compensation where applicable, SWMS, availability, expected duration, itemised pricing and examples of similar work. Pricing should cover labour, concrete, temporary fencing, minor consumables, equipment, site protection, reinstatement and waste removal only.
