My neighbour has a new Colourbond fence but previous fence not fully removed at my side. Need the remnants removing so I can add a plinth to cover gap. As you can see from the pictures, the asbestos is no bigger than 20cm high. There is approx 6.5m of it. Can provide protective suit, respirator and gloves. I’m looking for someone handy who can help me improve the height and stability of my low lying fence which currently stands at just 1.3 metres high. The fence currently has a low point where I can see my neighbours’ yard (and they can see mine) which I’d like to cover up for privacy. I have some bamboo screening which could be used (1.8 metres high x 9 metres long). I’m also looking to add a small barrier preventing my dog from accessing the fence line, stopping him from jumping up and engaging with the neighbour’s dog. I don’t want a new fence line, as there is a lot of fence and I don’t have the budget to do the whole lot. This task is specifically for a section of the fence that is just over 4 metres long, but depending on the quote, may extend to a 9 metre length if I can afford it. Not sure if the current fence line is asbestos or not as it’s difficult to tell, so I’m thinking the best method is to erect another fence/screen in front of the current fence line, however i’m open to creative suggestions.
