We have a small side gate on left of property, metal framed with timber palings. The gate needs repairing as palings are damaged and falling off. Don't think the metal frame needs replacing though. Also requires a new, suitable closing and locking mechanism to ensure it can be locked from the inside. The supporting posts that are attached to a side fence may or may not need replacing. We also have on the right side of the property, a larger gate and some fencing that closes off access to that side of the property however it all needs replacing as the posts are warped and the main part of the fence has come off the posts.It is preferable that the main part of the fence is either removable or opens, so that large items, machinery can access the side/back of house. Also the side gate on this side which needs replacing will also require a suitable closing and locking mechanism. Once all of this is replaced we will paint it ourselves. My front fence is colourbond - woodland grey. Two panels need replacing that have discoloured due to not being genuine colourbond steel.
