2nd Event Helper – Networking & Dinner Event | Tuesday 27 October We’re looking for a second friendly, experienced event helpers for a networking evening with canapés, mocktails and a sit-down dinner. The event is part of the Pacific Australian Emerging Leaders Gathering, bringing together emerging leaders from Pacific Island nations, Australian First Nations communities and Pacific diaspora communities. It’s an opportunity to build relationships, share experiences and connect with others across our region. Date: Tuesday, 27 October Time: 4:00 pm until approximately 10:00 pm (finish time may vary) Rate: $60/hr You’ll help keep the evening running smoothly and make our guests feel welcome. Duties include: - Assisting with final event setup before guests arrive - Serving canapés and drinks during networking - Preparing and serving mocktails - Helping with service during the sit-down dinner - Clearing glasses, plates and tables throughout the evening - Assisting with tidying and pack-down We’re looking for people who: - Have previous event and hospitality experience - Ideally have bartending experience and are comfortable making mocktails - Are friendly, professional and confident interacting with guests - Can take initiative and work well with the event team - Are available for the full shift, with some flexibility around the finish time Please include a brief overview of your relevant experience and confirm whether your offer is for one person or a team of two.

Event setup assistant needed in Greenway, ACT 2900, on Sunday, 27 September. Setup starts around 12 pm. Pack-down is from 10 pm to approximately 11:30 pm. Around seven hours of work altogether.
