I recently cut down a conifer hedge. I'm left with 5 tree stumps that I need removed. The stumps are between 15cm and 20cm in diameter. I've left a part of the trunks attached in case that makes it easier to for leverage (but I can cut them down if that's easier). My preference would be that you dig around the trees, cut the roots and then pull out the stumps, but I'm also ok if you have a stump grinder and can grind them down to 6" below the surface of the nearby concrete. Note, the fence behind is going to be removed so it's ok if it's damaged, but the concrete in front is staying (so I don't want to crack that).
