The primary task is to have our wooden countertops refurbished by having them sanded and recoated. We would like purchase the materials needed ourselves (we'll need a list from you). I've priced the job at $1200 as a placeholder and am open to paying more. The amount is not fixed. Bunnings says it's as easy to install as tile is. As seen in the photos, you can tell that the back of the kitchen sink pools water and that has caused the most damage to the unit. On that section, we would like to add a thin layer of tilted tiles/polymer so that when the water splashes there, it goes right back into the sink instead of pooling. The section is rotted a bit but it's not too bad and we've been told it can be restored by a couple of builders who are doing other work for us. Note: The current sink and range will remain; however, we will be hiring a plumber who will be removing the sink to make way to remove the current tap and tap knobs that are fixed to the wall itself and replacing them with a tap that's like the one pictured which will be fixed to the sink itself. The plumber will do this work one day before you come. Ideally we want all the work to be done within one week to minimise kitchen disruptions as the home is occupied. Thank you for your time. Since the storm, all power is working but not the lights… it is the light switch on the circuit breaker that keeps tripping. It will stay on for about 4 secs then trips. Wanting to someone to come and find out what’s going on.
