Works required: • Carefully lift and lower existing PVC electrical conduits so they sit below the finished concrete slab level • Provide proper sand or fine crusher dust bedding under the conduits (no sharp aggregate) • Ensure minimum 50–75mm clearance below the concrete slab • Cover conduits with sand (minimum 50mm) before re-instating crushed rock • Re-level and compact the crushed rock base to a clean, even finish suitable for concreting • Ensure conduits are protected from crushing and movement (sleeving if required) Important notes: • This is a driveway slab area and will carry vehicle loads • Conduits must not be visible at finished base level • Work must comply with standard pre-concrete construction practice • Area must be ready for immediate concrete pour once complete
