I need some help changing a downlight. Located in north Melbourne, I have a replacement but a bit skeptical on doing it myself.

If you have seen this before, please feel free to list your service again.* My downlight has been flashing, and I need help ascertaining the kind of light it is, sourcing a replacement in a low/no blue light warm amber colour, and replacing up to 10 lights. Hello, I need 1 ceiling downlight replaced in my Melbourne CBD apartment. • I already have the replacement MR16 halogen bulb (2-pin). • Ceiling height is approx. 3 metres, so bring a suitable ladder. • The light has been flickering and turning off, so it may need a transformer replacement.

Change 4 x down light bulbs. Not sure what bulbs are needed because I can’t get them out.

One light switch on a set of two is stuck (the right one) and will not flick to on. A down light in the bathroom requires replacing, will likely need a ladder to access.

I’m converting my pre-existing downlights to “smart downlights” and will need someone to remove the existing ones and replace the wiring with a 240V socket (I will supply) and then plug in the new down light (I will supply) Essentially all you need to do is be an electrician and wire the new sockets in. There are 19 lights in total to install. No drilling etc required

Electrical job to replace a wired in downlight

Approx 7-8 of my downlights are now out and need to be replaced. I am not sure of the exact size/specs. Tasker will need to bring bulbs or include cost of bulbs in the quote. Would very much prefer bulbs that have a warmer more yellow light than harsh fluorescent / blueish light . Need the lights / bulbs to be dimmable. There is also one switch / one set of lights that is blown out and was surging before it blew out. So this may need to be looked at more carefully/ fixed .

Replace 12 x LED Downlights (add plug base). There are 12 LED in place (6 in lounge room, 2 hallway, 4 bedroom). I have bought Philips colour controlled IC4 to replace those. Current lights are wired to a connector. New lights have a plug and will be required to fit to plug base (these will be supplied).

Need 2 downlights replaced and installed. 1 has gone out, the other flickers when the dimmer is turned up above half strength. Current are Phillips LED recessed downlight - happy for it to be replaced with whatever is more suitable.

4 of our LED down lights need replacing. They seem to be of an old make and the wiring goes in the walls meaning I can’t replace them myself with the current standards.
