We’re a busy Perth cake studio looking for a careful, reliable courier to handle morning deliveries Wednesday to Saturday on an ongoing basis. What you’ll do • Pick up boxed cakes/cupcakes from our kitchen in Nedlands. • Safely deliver to venues, homes, and offices across Perth metro. • Communicate clearly: confirm ETA on pickup, send live updates if traffic delays, and snap a quick photo on delivery. • Handle with care: keep cakes level, drive smoothly, and secure boxes in your vehicle. Hours • Most mornings, Wed–Sat. Typical window 8:30am–12:30pm (some days shorter/longer depending on bookings). • Extra shifts during peak weeks (weddings/events) by agreement. You’ll need • Excellent driving record and full, valid WA licence. • Punctual, friendly communicator (SMS updates + calls if needed). • A clean, air-conditioned vehicle with flat boot space. Non-slip mats/towels and light tie-downs are a plus. (Refrigerated vehicle not essential; AC on, no smoking/strong scents.) • Comfortable lifting up to ~10–12 kg and carefully carrying tiered cakes. • ABN for invoicing preferred (or we can pay via Airtasker). • Insurance: CTP required; comprehensive preferred. Nice to have • Experience with fragile goods (flowers, cakes, catering, artwork) • Knowledge of Perth venues/traffic hot spots Pay • Hourly: $40–$55/hr depending on experience and vehicle. • Per run option: quote your rate (e.g., base + per km or per stop). • Parking reimbursed with receipts.
