Looking for local handyman or painter to stain under an elevated wooden deck (5.5m L x 3m W) on sunny 22-25 degrees days when sanding and painting. Ladder provided and bring your own safety gear. UPDATES: Some changes to what I wrote previously (see below) which was cleaning on Day 1. Sanding, fillers and priming (paint) on Day 2. Two coats of paint on Day 3. The CHANGE is: We’ve pressured cleaned the deck instead and unfortunately the weather has changed, so we need to wait to paint! The remaining of the job will still need two days but just light sanding and only 2 coats of staining. But the exterior of the beam and 6 posts of the deck still needs 1 coats of primer follow with 2 coats of paint. Light sanding as it’s an old deck, smooth cracks and focus on edges & corners. Fill any minor cracks or holes with wood filler. This is what was previously written before: 1. Day 1 Prep - Scrub off dirt with a long stiff brush and a deck cleaner. Needs to dry 48 hours. Deck cleaner, brush and pail provided. - Est 2 hrs depending how fast you work. Day 2: When deck is totally dry, sand lightly as it’s an old deck, smooth cracks and focus on edges & corners. Fill minor cracks or holes with wood filler. Let it dry, then sand smooth. Sand block and paper and filler provided. Paint exterior wood primer with long pad/brush, needs to dry 4-6 hrs. Primer and deck brush will be provided, plastic sheets provided. Est 4 hrs depending how fast you work. Day 3: Final 2 coats of exterior paint. Paint and roller provided. Est 2-4 hrs

The timber deck is about 12 metres long and 1.74metres wide. The top timber slates are loose due to the structure underneath has got worn out .
