Decks will be low profile using TuffBlocks, treated pine framing, and Merbau decking (or other materials if quicker/more cost-effective). No rails, just clean, flat platforms. Looking for an experienced tradesperson to give my front verandah a bit of TLC, salvaging what they can and replacing what is needed. Details: 2.1m x 10.m front verandah with extensive woodrot in decking and joists around the edges, middle majority of deck still OK. 4x posts are 95mmx95mm and around 2.5m tall, all have rotting in the lower 2-3cm where it meets the deck. Open to options on repair or replacing - looking to be cost effective. I'm no species expert but timber looks like some kind of pine with a tongue and groove, around 100mmx20mm. Looking to match as close as possible - but will probably just paint it so doesn't have to be exact. Not sure on budget but happy to discuss further.
