I have a small deck between two buildings that needs to be constructed. All materials are onsite and the ready. The area is cleared. the deck size is 1800 wide and approx 5600 long. No footings required based on the design. I estimate it to be a day job. The deck will run to the back corner of the house. it will be step down (180-200) then run to the end of the house. where there will be another step down.

Looking for a carpenter/handyperson who can paint my deck and take on some additional deck work. I need a set of stairs added to the end of the deck, as well as some new decking built in another area.

If possible we need our deck re-made, preferably with eco-wood or a similar product that’s not timber. Our present decking measurements are 3550mmx4350mm and it is on a concrete slab.

I’m looking for someone that can start with sanding the deck and it goes well there is a range of other similar unskilled tasks. Please tell me your general availability. The work is not every day. Ideally you would start this Wednesday morning but I could wait until Thursday morning. Please tell me the hourly rate you expect. I have to give a budget on this and I’ll put one in but that could be a lot more work depending on how you work. I’m looking for someone who’s not particularly skilled or experienced but is willing to give it a go at a good price per hour. I already have several good Tradies.

A couple (2 or 3) decking boards are popping up a little and need screwing down with long screws. Needs an electric screwdriver and long screws with strength to hold them down.
