Stage 2 – After kitchen renovation: • Sand and polish the timber floor • Match the finish to the rest of the house (appears gloss, but to be confirmed) • Open to professional advice on finish type to ensure a good match Area size: Approx. 2.4m x 2.4m What I’m looking for: • Experience with older timber floors • Own tools and sanding equipment • Ability to match existing floor finishes • Clean, professional workmanship Kitchen renovation is underway — sanding/polishing will be scheduled once installation is complete.

Dylan, several years ago, I put up a job to repair and replace a Cork floor that we have in the kitchen and family room. Some of the flooring is discoloured i.e. the clear coat appears to have gone. The other main repair is to add pieces of flooring where there are gaps after we replaced the kitchen cupboards. I am at Kenmore. You responded to the task, but at the time we decided not to go ahead as we were thinking of changing the flooring altogether. We decided to Get some serious quotes to repair the flooring.
