Hi, I need a qualified carpenter/builder to build walls for our bathroom renovation. Photos show the fully stripped out bathroom. We are making the bathroom bigger, and have removed the wall between the bathroom and the wardrobe in the next bedroom. This is what we need done: * Build a stud wall where the wardrobe doors were. * Build a stud frame in the wall so we can put in a glass panel. * Build one stud wall for one side of the shower. * Build the frame for the in-wall cistern for the toilet. (Dimensions can be provided) * Put in a sliding cavity door where the previous normal door was. * Frame the bottom section of the space where the previous wardrobe door was so we can put in a glass panel. To get to the bathroom you will need to come up two sets of stairs (One very wide external set, and one internal set) Please quote for your time and equipment. I can reimburse any building material (With receipts) Including cavity door frame. If you are a plasterer as well, that would be a bonus. I work from home so I can slot into your schedule. The existing shower has now been completely removed. I’m looking for someone who can either: * Complete most of the work themselves (where appropriately licensed), or * Coordinate the required trades, including plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, tiling, carpentry and painting. The existing layout will stay largely the same, with no major plumbing changes. The aim is a simple, modern, cost-effective bathroom to prepare the property for sale. I’m happy for you to source and supply all materials and fixtures, or I can supply items such as the vanity, toilet and tiles if preferred. Please only apply if you are fully insured, can provide a warranty on your work, and have experience managing bathroom renovations. I’d also appreciate seeing photos of similar projects you’ve completed and any relevant licences or qualifications. We are completing a bathroom renovation and will require three separate visits. First visit to disconnect the water taps and make safe / prepare for demolition works. Return on second date once walls are all stripped to move and relocate water feeds to the correct positioning with mixer tap supplied for showers. Bathroom and toilet in our rental place is badly damaged. It is on the first floor with holes in the toilet. The floors need to be completely redone with waterproofing and tiling. Bathroom shower cabinet and vanity need to be replaced and both need to be painted.
