The role is straightforward: shop for high-quality organic groceries, prepare healthy whole-food meals for the week, portion them into containers, and leave the kitchen clean and organised. * Approximately 8-10 hours per week, split across two sessions. * Ongoing arrangement rather than a one-off task. * $60–75 per hour depending on experience. * Groceries reimbursed separately. * Shopping to be handled by you. * Ingredients will need to be organic. * You will shop at farmers markets, organic grocers, quality butchers and other appropriate suppliers. * Cooking style will be healthy, simple and ingredient-focused rather than elaborate restaurant food. * Good quality proteins, vegetables, slow-cooked dishes & nutritious meals that store & reheat well. * Meals portioned into glass vacuum-sealed containers that I will provide * Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety & kitchen organisation is a MUST. Some flexibility with location is important, as I will be moving around a bit. You would be cooking in my home kitchen. I’m looking for someone who can eventually work independently: We agree on the menu, you handle the shopping and preparation, and have the fridge stocked for the week, without me needing to micromanage the process. Professional kitchen, catering, private-chef or substantial meal-prep experience is very strongly preferred. Equally important is reliability, good judgement with ingredients, efficiency and an understanding of healthy whole-food cooking. I’d like to start with a paid trial session of 4 to 5 hours.
