We need a flooring installer for our upstairs area in a Glen Iris townhouse. Scope of work: • Install engineered floorboards or laminate in 2 bedrooms + landing (28 sqm). • Install carpet in master bedroom + walk-in-robe (17 sqm). • We will remove all existing carpet and skirting boards in the floorboard areas before the job. • Carpet nail strips will remain where needed. Materials: • We are open to labour only (we supply materials) or supply + install. • Prefer Tasmanian Oak-look engineered boards, but open to laminate options. • Carpet: medium-spec, dense, soft, beige tone. Site notes: • Landing step is 15 mm above yellow tongue. • Bathroom tile edge sits 11–12 mm above yellow tongue. • Slight raised section of subfloor (2–3 mm) near bathroom. • One wardrobe has carpet underneath and an aluminium track — happy for advice on best finish. We have some leaking taps. They were installed about three years ago, and probably need new washers. Three are leaking, but it might be good to also replace a couple more in the same bathroom. I would take guidance on that. Thank you

I have a double bookcase in my room which I am seeking to have screwed to the wall (note, wall is brick), via some brackets at the top, as well as some fix ups. 1) Please attach to the wall, (bring stud finder w/ electrical detector to make sure don't hit a wire!), with brackets (see attached). 2) Please carve the foot to fit skirting board so it sits flush with wall (see pic) 3) Please align bookcases so they are right next to each other flush and square - and attach them to each other w/ screws 4) One of the shelves is just being held up with a screw. If that could be improved would be a big benefit. 5) One more task - please put some hooks in behind my barbeque which I can hang the grill on - Due date: Needs to be done on Wednesday, 27 September 2023
