Internet is slow and coverage not very good. Builder included ethernet points but i cant get the connections to work.

My laptop was working fine, but the top lid hinge became loose. After opening/closing a few times, the screen now shows lines/flickering. The laptop powers on normally. I suspect the screen panel or cable is damaged. I want a repair at the lowest possible cost.

It used to remain connected but now all of a sudden it constantly disconnects and I have to reconnect it each time. We want it connected all the time.
